2Mechanics of EEE telescopes
The mechanical structure of the EEE telescope is
realized with structural extruded aluminium
profile (90X90 mm Fig.1) The structure defines
three plans of support (Fig.2) We have thought
two kind of structures for economic
aspect 1.Structure with Fixed
chambers 2.Structure with Mobile chambers 1.The
chambers are fixed by means of local supports to
aluminium profile of the three plans.

2.In the support structure it is possible to move
two plans (bottom and central) of chambers and
maintaining a third plane fixed (upper) The
movement (about 500mm up down) of the two
inferior chambers is obtained with uses of two
drive angle irons, one drive-central-gears
(FIG.3) and four worm-screw-jacks (FIG.4)
disposed to the four extremities of the chambers
(precision in the motion is about 1mm) The
transmission of the motion is manually (use of
the crank) and it is distributed to the jacks by
means of shafts

4Mechanics of EEE telescopes
We have chose the bottom and the central plane
moving, because so it is possible to aligned in
the best position for a better physical response.
