Title: Create Visual IconVlicon

Create Visual Icon--Vlicon
Page 1
  • This is the first slide or page of the module
that you will create. The first page can be an
introduction to your subject, objectives, or the
    main menu/section of your module.
  • Located in the lower right hand corner of the
page/screen is an arrow. The arrow is a visual
symbol commonly used for navigation. The right
arrow is a visual cue telling the user that there
is more content. To create a visual icon, you
need to add text to the arrow.
  • Directions
  • Right Click on right arrow
  • Select add text
  • Type in Next
  • Save your work
  • Return to online module, and complete Hyperlinks
    section

Add Next to this navigational element with a
right mouse click

Page 2
  • This is page two of your module. As the user
progresses in the module, you need to keep
her/him engaged in the material by allowing them
to go forward and backward. On the lower right
hand corner of the screen are two Vlicons. The
right Vlicon allows the user to move on and
continue and the left Vlicon allows the user to
    go back and review.

When you select the rectangles outline and it
looks like this, you are in text mode and should
see the I bar blinking. You can type or hyperlink
the word when you dont see a yellow diamond.
When you see the yellow diamond, you are placing
the hyperlink on the Vlicon, not the word.
When adding a hyperlink to the Vlicon, make sure
you click on the Vlicon and not the word. Make
sure you see the yellow diamond before adding the
hyperlink to the Vlicon.
