2Program History Mission
- One of the 24 eGov initiatives established by the
Presidents Management Agenda - Office of Management and Budget (OMB) provides
program oversight and guidance - DM program resides in the DHS/FEMA Emergency
Planning and Response (EPR) Directorate - DHS/FEMA EPR provides program management
functions and support - Supports a multitude of federal agency missions
including DHS and FEMA missions to reduce the
loss of life and property in any phase of a
disaster event - Supports the federal mission to provide the
Nation with a comprehensive, accelerated and
improved quality disaster mitigation and response
through information sharing capabilities
