Introduction
  • Native Americans occupied the Northern Hemisphere
    long before "America" was discovered. Who were
    the people who were the Native Americans? Where
    did they live? What did they eat? What customs
    did they observe? Your journey throughout this
    Web Quest will help you and your classmates to
    answer the question, "Who were the Native
    Americans?"

    your assigned Native American tribe. During your
    research each group member will complete the
    worksheet about your tribe. You will use your
    worksheet to present your research into a flap
    book.

  1. Each group member will be responsible for one or
    more of these topics region, shelter, food, or
    clothes. Each group member will research one
    interesting fact about your tribe.
  2. You will use the Internet resources to locate
    information about your tribe.
  3. How did this Native American Tribe have an
    impact or influence on the history of America?
    Your job is to locate the information to answer
    the questions on your worksheet.
  4. Now lets get back in your groups and start
    creating your flapbooks!

    the history of our Nation. You have also created
    a flapbook, and researched the Internet to find
    out information about Native American Tribes.

    Native Americans.
