Barcelona and Madrid are possible but much more
complicated and longer. In any case when you
land, check for train connections through Renfe
www.renfe.es but be aware that you will have to
go to the city center.

- The average cost from Alicante airport to GandÃa
is about 130-150 Euro. - Do not take taxis off the stand. There are
records of people trying to cheat on newcomers. - Official taxis are not cheap but they are safe.
6Coach from the eirport
- Locate the information desk and ask for the times
to Gandia (you will have to change at Alicante
city bus station (very safe place). - The coach company between Alicante and Gandia is
ALSA (www.alsa.es) but only runs once a day.

- It can be somewhat expensive to rent a car in the
peninsula. - The cheapest reliable company is Pepecar
(www.pepecar.com, click on the link below) - From Valencia (4 days, pepecar) total 110
(returning it to the same airport) - From Alicante (4 days, pepecar) total 120

sign at the airport exit. You do not need to get
