  • The leaders of Mohenjo-Daro lead there city very
carefully it took hard and long planning to run a
city that was a crazy at this one. The city was
crazy with traders and soldiers the city was as
    crazy as Manhattan

  • The geography effected the way people in ancient
India because if they lived in the desert I would
be harder to grow crops because there is no rain
fall in the desert and no rainfall means no
crops. Especially if you lived on a mountain
there would be no flat ground for farming.

10
The Beginning of HinduismSummary
  • The beginning of hinduism describes types of
gods, goddesses, and religion. A Iot comes to be
that Hinduism is one of the worlds major
religions. Hinduism has several gods, and is the
oldest living religion. The Hindu gods are
Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. It also explains how
    Hindus believe in non-violence, reincarnation,
    and truth.

11
Definition
  • Reincarnation is when a human being, animal, or
any living thing reaches death, then it's soul
will be reborn into a different physical form.
Hindus believe that if the human being doesn't
take good actions, or have good behavior, then
they will be reborn into a lower position. If
the soul had a good or perfect behavior, then it
was reborn into a higher position, or the soul
    remains with Brahman.

12
Definition 2
  • Dharma is a little like rules that people have to
fallow, except these are religious rules. Each
person has his or her own rules to fallow. The
rules depend on the age of the person, and the
job or class that person has or takes. If they
obey their dharma, then they become closer to
    Brahman.

13
Definition 3
  • Ahimsa means non-violence. Hindus believe you
must treat all living things respectfully, which
explains the reason to why they wont eat meat.
Since all living things are apart of Brahman.

14
Identification
  • Brahma is the creator out of the Hindu gods. He
is called the creator because it is believed that
he created the earth, and all the living things
that lay upon it. Its also believed that brahma
was born from a golden egg. Even though Brahma
sounds like a very important god, he wasn't as
looked up to as the other gods. He also comes in
    many different forms

15
Identification 2
  • And then Vishnu is the preserver out of the Hindu
gods. He is called the preserver because he is
always making sure that the human beings are
safe, and to support them so that they will
always have and get what they need. He goes in
different forms each time, just like Brahma takes
    many different shapes or forms.

16
Identification 3
  • Shiva is the destroyer out of the Hindu gods. He
is known as the destroyer because he is kind and
cruel. Shiva would destroy the universal and then
create it all over. Shiva is the opposite of
Vishnu, since he doesn't care for the humans and
he is much more powerful. Shiva was created by
god rudra, who is the handler of the thunder
    bolt.

17
Question
  • Aryan religion grew into Hinduism by their
culture mixing with the culture or religion of
people they took over. The mixed culture brought
new ideas, and beliefs. This blending then created
    the religion of Hinduism.

18
Question 2
  • Good and bad behavior relates to reincarnation in
Hinduism because if a soul has a good behavior,
then they get reborn in a higher position. If a
soul has a bad behavior then they will be reborn
in a lower baste. That is reincarnation the
    Hinduism way.
