- Liverpools unique culture is a direct result of
its diverse communities - Total Population 465,700 (Source ONS 2011)
- 13.7 (63,800) are Non White British
- Between 2001/2009 BAME Population increased by
23,800 - Almost half of this growth occurred in white
other group which includes residents from
Eastern Europe including Poland, Czech Republic,
Romania) and countries such as the Yeman - Other population groups that increased - Indian,
Pakistani and Black African
4Liverpool A Renewed Commitment
- Change in local governance led by a newly elected
Mayor - Mayoral pledge to renew commitment to the
Declaration - Instigating a programme of change that recognises
the importance of our new and emerging
communities, particularly economically - Celebrating culture and the diversity of our
communities has been and continues to be a key
strategic driver of the Citys recent renaissance

The Liverpool Fairness Commission Fairness is
