• God is not a means to an end He IS the Means
  the End
• When we worship idols, we are in part doing what
  we are supposed to be doing, only we are not
  doing it the way to Whom we are supposed to be
  doing it
• God is NOT a Holy God a Just God a Loving God .
  . . He IS Holiness He IS Justice He IS Love

What is the purpose of man?

• why am I here? what am I supposed to do? who am
  I? should I go? should I stay? what should I do?
  who should I be with? what is the cost? will I
  suffer? why am I suffering? when will I stop
  suffering? why dont others suffer the way I do?
  am I my own? why should I care? can I really deny
  myself? what is so bad about getting whatever I
  want? what do I want? what is the purpose? What
  is the end of it all?

The Big Picture Be Wise

• The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom
  and the Knowledge of the Holy One is
  understanding (Proverbs 910)
• Fear God and keep His commandments (Ecclesiastes
  1213)
• Seek first the Kingdom and all else will be added
  (Matt. 633)
• Rejoice in the LORD always (Phil. 44)
• If you dont know God, you cant know anything
  properly
