Level 1 Awareness of digital preservation and IT skills to understand the challenges. Can describe and apply rules relating to safe preservation.
Level 2 Using digital preservation standards and tools. Understand and applies principles and processes of digital curation and preservation and the systems that support them.
Level 3 Working with IT development professionals to ensure appropriate digital preservation solutions. Competent and confident in assisting in the development of preservation policies and processes and in training others in their use.
