• they hold about 10 mil. cubic metres of water
• Tarns are of iceberg origin

• The largest and the deepest one is the Great
  Hincovo tarn

Kmets waterfall the highest waterfall in
Slovakia, located in Koprova valley. Its about
80 m high
Gerlach peak / 2655m, the highest peak in the
High Tatras, which is also the highest point in
the whole country
