Career Day
Language Arts- consonant blends, digraphs,
sight words, contractions, high frequency
words Reading- retell important events (story
elements), fluency, comprehension strategies,
genre study Math- place value, compare and
order numbers to 99, determine value of coins up
to 1.00, patterns Science- classifying
matter by physical properties, compare changes
caused by heating and cooling Continue
scientific method and safe practices Social
Studies- community, landmarks, social
influences, customs, communication, needs and
wants
On Friday, September 14 Sierra Vista will be
informing students on various career choices. If
you would like to be a speaker for this event,
please contact our counselors Mrs. Ortega at
937-8112 or Mrs. Salinas 937-8118. We would
love to hear from you! ?

Important Information

• If there will be a change in picking up your
  child afterschool, please send a note informing
  me of this change. Thank you! ?
• Family Night- Thursday, September 12th at Chick
  Fil A. The class with the most in attendance
  will receive a Chick Fil A classroom party.
  Hope to see you there!!
• Bring a 1.00 for our Western Day Rodeo Dance on
  Friday, September 21.
• Picture Retakes will be on Monday September, 24.
  Please wear your school uniform.
