History

• Allegedly, our mineral water well was created
  where the Greek god Apollos servant Pegasus
  struck its hoof on the ground.
• Our history goes back as far as the Roman times
• The road from Celeia (Celje) to Petovia (Ptuj)
  leads through this territory
• The mineral water found here was first mentioned
  in 1572 though its healing properties were known
  before.
• The Croatian ban Peter Zrinjski actually healed
  his liver. with the spring water around 1665.
• The spa, however, wasnt built until 1803.
• Our spa is well-known around the world.

Glassworks

• Our glassworks were built when they discovered
  black coal.
