• Sedimentary
• (Clastic) Other rocks are eroded into sediments,
  which, are compacted and cemented together.
• (Chemical) Water evaporates leaving behind
  inorganic (non-living) materials that are
  compacted and cemented.
• (Organic) Once living materials are compacted and
  cemented.
