Market Requirement for Wireless Home Networks
  • The forecasting of Chinese Home Appliance
    Association about Home Control Networks and
    devices is In 2005, the revenue over 10 billion
    RMB in China .
  • The major Home and PC appliance manufactures
    (Such Haier, Lenovo) choose the wireless networks
    as their platforms for office and home network.

Open new Frequency bands for Wireless Home
Application
  • The Chinese Radio Management decided to open new
    frequency bands for Short-distance wireless
    networks
  • Conditions
  • Not affecting to the other wireless communication
  • Have the enough bandwidth

The Frequency band Proposal
  • Near to the 900 and 868 MHz
  • The Max Power should be very low.
  • The bandwidth is not less 5 MHz
  • Possible has the other frequency band for backing
    up this frequency band as the main band is
    prohibited in some areas.

The Progress of the Proposal
  • Final evaluations from Wireless Industries,
    militaries, and Civic users
  • Should be announce in this or next year.
