- 2001 - First Scheme established in Stockbridge
Village funded primarily by ODPM. (11 staff) - 2002 - Second Scheme established in Tower Hill
Wardens funded through NRF. - 2003 Schemes established in Central Huyton,
Central Halewood and South Kirkby, all NRF
funded. - 2004 Borough-wide service established aligned
to Community Areas, part main stream funded.(105
staff)
5Six area-based teams
- Manager, Supervisor, 15 Wardens part-time admin
support, all CRB checked. - Service provision between 8am 10pm.
- Patrol in pairs on foot.
- Distinctive uniform.
- Patrols carry mobile telephone and GPS radio.
