File Transfer using Client Access

• Client Access allows a User to transfer data in a
  file from a PC drive to a file on the iSeries
  
  or
  transfer data from
  a file on the iSeries to a file on a PC drive.

File Transfer using IFS

• IFS(Integrated File system) allows a user to
  transfer/move/exchange data between the native
  iSeries database and PC-based files such as
  directory/stream files for transfer to other
  systems such as UNIX.
