2. Selection Mission in Kenya (October 2007)
- Pre-briefing in the Netherlands information
about preparations for the selection mission,
pre-arrival activities, meeting Dutch

interviews and medical checks - possibility being present at everyday discussions
about the acceptance/non-acceptance of particular

Lessons learned from DSIP Project
- Acquaintance with the whole Dutch resettlement
system in a theoretical and practical way, as
well - Getting experience with resettlement at all
stages - Possibility to identify feasible moments and
limits for the Czech context - Consideration of necessary demands on
resettlement (financial and human resources,
organizational and logistic aspects) - -Importance of practical cooperation between all
engaged bodies - Good organization and communication necessary

conditions and capacities of every resettlement
country - -Real integration of resettled people is of a
high importance, managing too high expectations
