Logging In
Log in to CONFIGURATOR Using the
username/password supplied

Loading the data to the knowledgebase
  • Load the data to the supplied templates
  • Load the templates to the knowledgebase
  • Templates can be downloaded from the DOWNLOAD
    site or EXPORTED from the Knowledgbase for demo
    purposes the data has already been loaded to the
    KB

Verify the loaded data
To verify the data has been loaded browse the
knowledgebase by following the Oracle style menus

Drill down through Payables to Supplier entry.

Each column on the screen represent a field on
the Oracle screen. Review and change the data as
needed

Preparing an Injection Package
To prepare an injection package select a PROFILE

Profile Details
By clicking on the profile name on the previous
screen the profile details will be shown. The
SCENARIO controls what activities will occur with
the data

Reviewing the Scenario
To review what the scenario contains return to
the MAIN MENU and select SCENARIO MAINTENANCE and
the screen below will be shown Now select the
SCENARIO that was shown in the PROFILE

Scenario
A scenario is a set of job steps. The steps can
be deleted, changed or added to as necessary.

Generating the Package
Return to the PROFILE screen and select
GENERATE. This will start the process to
generate a package

Getting the Package
Once the package has been generated the GET BWP
will appear under Actions. Click on GET BWP

Downloading the Package
Save the downloaded package to a folder on the
local machine

Injecting the Package
Start SWIFTBuild Then Click Browse

Selecting the Package
  • Select the package that was saved to the local
    machine
  • Click Open and return to BUILD
  • Click Next to advance to the next screen

Repeat the previous process and select the BWE
file. This is the environment file that
contains all the necessary details about
connecting to the server where the data is to be
injected

Displaying the BWE file
The BWE details should appear and look similar to
this screen

Validating the BWE file
Validation of the parameters in the BWE file are
now undertaken. Any issues are highlighted in
RED and the NEXT button will be Grey. Once all
the items to check are GREEN it is possible to
proceed to the next step

Preparing to Inject
All the possible steps from the Scenario are
shown. If any of these steps do not have data
then the job step will be ignored. As this is a
DEMO only some items will be selected ..

Demonstrating the Injection
Select 1, 2 and the LAST job. Then select
START If you select others job tasks to run then
ensure they are run in the correct sequence as
some data may be required for other job steps to
complete.
