3BIZ-ART is a business policy project in Vejle
municipality, which insists on strengthening the
cross field between art and business by creating
settings in which the creative industries are
able to unfold themselves in. BIZ-ART provide
an entrepreneurial environment for people and
companies working professionally within the field
of arts, creative fields, culture or
dissemination of knowledge.

TRAINING EDUCATION
Art Innovator - a 1 1/2 year education programme
for professional performers that will strengthen
their collaborative skills with established
business and cultural institutions KataKULT - a
3-month course for creative and cultural
entrepreneurs that will help attendees to
kick-start their business Vejle Design and Art
School - a creative and artistic basic education
in design, architecture and fine arts that gives
a basic education for applicants to Universities
of design, architecture and fine arts.
6PROJECTS
New York export The project aims to provide
skills to creative businesses to help them
explore export opportunities at the American
market in New York. Delegates attend workshops,
which provide them with training and individual
face-to-face consultancy. The project is carried
out in co-operation between BIZ-ART, Export
Company and South Danish Business Link (Væksthus
Syddanmark). Production in Serbia The project
aims to establish a textile network, which looks
at production opportunities in Serbia.
Additionally, the project works to develop a
platform for Serbian companies and Danish
designers to work together in order to make the
Serbian textile and production companies more
competitive in Europe.
7PROJECTS
Kids n Tweens Lifestyle The project aims to use
knowledge and skills to develop innovative and
experience-based activities to kids and tweens,
between 3 and 12 years old. The project is
carried out in co-operation between BIZ-ART, as
the main project leader and South Danish Tourism.
ART-BUILT The project aims to promote
innovation in the construction industry by
involving art. An example of how BIZ-ARTs
artists, designers and creative entrepreneurs
collaborate with the business community. It
creates an innovative meeting place that
represents professionals working with art,
ceramics, architecture, design, bricklaying as
well as tile manufacturing. To date the project
has developed prototypes of new artistic bricks
and tiles, which are sold at Pedersens Tegl in
Denmark. Likewise, they have developed new and
innovative mason techniques, which incorporate
art into buildings and add a new visual
expression.
8CULTURAL AND ARTISTIC EVENTS
Art an important source of inspiration and
innovation. Art is there to experiment, cross
boundaries, break down stereotypes and break new
ground. BIZ-ART believes that art can be an
invaluable inspiration for citizens and
