How do we Manage data?

• Hilton Elementary uses the Student Information
  Management System known as SASI.
• SASI is a flexible, comprehensive student
  information management system that provides easy,
  direct and secure access to student records,
  enrollment, scheduling and attendance
  information.

How does this help us?

• All students are entered into this system, along
  with their information such as
• Address
• Contact Information
• Parent Emergency Information
• Medical Conditions
• Student Demographics (race, sex, qualifications
  for free/reduced lunch, etc.)
• Each student is given a SASI number. This number
  follows them throughout the remainder of their
  career in our school system.

Attendance

• We use SASI on a daily basis to enter Student
  Attendance. We also mark the reason for their
  absence or tardy.
• SASI also is used to print attendance reports and
  summaries, so that excessive offenses can be
  tracked.
• SASI reports are also given to teachers each
  marking period to assist in completing grade
  cards.

Discipline

• The principal and assistant principal use SASI to
  document and record discipline.
• When a student is given ISS, OSS, or any other
  punishment, SASI records this on the students
  record.
• A report is printed off and given to the parents,
  and central office.
