Information about the Human Heart

• The heart delivers blood to our bodies by arties,
  capillaries, and veins.
• The heart is divided into four chambers, the top
  two are the right and left atria and the bottom
  two are the right and left ventricles.
• The heart also has four valves that allow blood
  flow to only go one way.

Types of Arties and Veins

• Arteries carry oxygenated blood (blood that is
  full of oxygen) to the body. Pulmonary artery and
  the Aorta are two arties the aorta is the
  largest artery
• Veins carry deoxygenated blood to the heart.
  Pulmonary vein and the Vena Cava are two veins
  veins return blood to the heart to get oxygen
  from the lungs.
