• Diversify the student population by increasing
  the number of minority students in the
  Pre-Engineering Program
• Specific Goal Increase the number of Hispanic
  students in the Program

Description of the Program

• This is a 22 Program where the students complete
  two years of study at Kirkwood and transfer to a
  university to complete in two more years a
  Bachelors degree in Engineering.
• This is the only complete Pre-Engineering Program
  at the College Level in the State of Iowa.
• Kirkwood engineering courses transfer to Iowa
  State University, University of Iowa and
  University of Northern Iowa.
