Key responsibilities of you agency

• The consumer Product Safety Commissions job is
  to protect the public from unreasonable risks,
  serious injuries, or death. There are more than
  15,000 products that cause these injuries.
• Also they protect property damage. They are
  committed to protecting their consumers, and
  families.

What they can do for the Consumer

• Their job is to make sure the public is safe from
  certain products.
• The CPSC work to make sure the safety of consumer
  products, such as toys, power tools, household
  chemicals and other house hold items that can be
  deadly.
• The commission is to protect the public from the
  dangerous risks of injury and death that apply
  with the products they buy.
• Protecting consumer and families from products
  that may start fire, electrical, chemical, or
  mechanical hazard, or that can harm children.
