Power Point(The Process)

• In the beginning of our training I wasnt
  familiar enough with Power Point to train someone
  else
• I found myself stumbling through the program as
  we worked together
• It made me spend time on my own getting a better
  understanding on how to use the program
• Now, Im comfortable with the program and have
  trained others

Photo Story 3(The Process)

• Silvia used her new scanner to upload pictures
  for her Photo Story presentation
• She created a short 3 minute presentation about
  herself and her family
• Our IT guys quickly installed PS3 on all 25
  computers in the lab
• This spring we will be implementing this program
  with our first ESL class

Complete

• 3 purchased, installed and working
• 3 very enthusiastic teachers using it each day
• Other teachers are now asking for one in their
  classroom and requesting more training
• Students are excited to go home and look up
  websites their teachers are showing them in class

• Purchased 5 Digital Presenters
• Trained 5 teachers on how to set up and use their
  presenter.

Incorporating Technology into EL Civics

• EL Civics Curriculum
• Each ESL/CBET teacher was given a flash drive
  with all EL Civics curriculum
• Curriculum was created utilizing word, power
  point, and smart notebook
• Curriculum is being posted on our ESL Website
