The land formations
There are three types of land formations. One
type of formation is the Barrier reef. The
Barrier reef is pointing straight upward, so that
when some fish die they can sink to another place
in the ocean to make coral reef.
The second type of land formations is the fringe
reef. The fringe reef is
like a solid thumb sticking straight up. The
Black stuff on it is a whole lot of rock and some
sand. It holds a lot of small coral. The third
type and final one is the Atoll. The Atoll is the
smallest of the formations. It is turned to the
side a little.

The weather
The weather climate can get up to 82 degrees
Fahrenheit and down to 70 degrees Fahrenheit
(21-30degrees Celsius). In some months it could
rain up to 250 inches. The lowest it could get to
is 120 inches that if it is hot a lot.

The climate
The climate prefers in the coral reef is warm
weather except in the winter, it is like people
freezing. But the bad part is that people are
killing them.

The three animals
The first fish is the clownfish.The clownfish is
very famous, because it starred in the movie
Finding Nemo.Its body is orange with white
strips. The second animal is the puffer fish.The
reason why it is called the puffer fish is
because when a animal gets close it will puff up
where it is. The spikes will puff out and scare
predators go away. If something eats it they will
sometimes die. The final fish is the the
bull shark.The Bull shark eats puffer fish and
they dont always die. The average life span is
to 30 years. The Bull shark gets it name from
acting like a bull.

The food chains
The sun that is the energy gives it off to the
coral reef, which is a producer. It gives it
energy to the parrotfish, which is the consumer,
which it gives it energy to the stingray
secondary consumer, which gets eaten by the
shark.
The phytoplankton gets eaten by the zooplankton
which is the consumer gets eaten by the shrimp
which is the secondary consumer which gets eaten
by the puffer fish primary consumer which gets
eaten by the Bull shark.

The Three Types of plants
Turtle grass is a major type of sea grass in the
coral reef. Most of it is found by Florida. The
second type of grass is the shoql grass. It can
grow to be 50 cm long. The shoql grass is mostly
found by the coral reef out in the ocean.The
third type of grass is the mangrove grass. It
grows to be 30 cm long and is by Cuba. It is very
short.

The two locations
There are two locations on earth that you can
find coral reef. One of them are found in the
Barrier reef. It holds some of the biggest ones
in the world. Some of them can be seen from outer
space. The second place you can found it is the
Caribbean. It holds some big coral reef too, but
a whole lot of it (coral reef) is dying. It
looks very bad and they are trying to stop it.
