    Skills to the Reading Process
  • Study was conducted
  • on 90 randomly selected 3rd graders from Georgia
    with a mean IQ of 98 and average reading
    comprehension at 3rd grade
  • to determine if significant relationships exist
    among intersensory transfer ability, intersensory
    perceptual shifting ability, modal preference,
    and reading achievement
  • intersensory transfer, intersensory perceptual
    reaction time, modal preference, and sight
    vocabulary was measured by formal and
    specifically designed assessments
