EOC Logistics Section Chief Job Description
The Logistics Chief directs the acquisition of
material resources and personnel to the EOC.
Logistics is responsible for the repair and
maintenance of EOC supporting equipment and
resources. Logistics is responsible for
supporting Field requests.

  • Assists Planning/Intelligence Branch in

communications systems. Identifies key
frequencies for emergency response use. Provides
communications connectivity for emergency

the EOC and supporting facilities. Ensures
maintenance support scheduling accommodates EOC
operations. Identifies other support facilities
to support the EOC (i.e., Staging Areas,
Mobilization Centers, etc.)

  • Coordinates and negotiates for addition
    facilities as needed.
  • Adjusts maintenance schedules to meet EOC and
    support facilities needs.
  • Ensures that comfort levels (AC/Heat) and
    utilities support EOC operations for the

Provides transportation resources to EOC and
facilities. Manages jurisdictional fleet
