  • Analyze unit trends and incorporate system

    training material to I MEF units.
  • Establishes monthly training classes
  • Disseminates information concerning intermediate
    level supply support via Newsletters, Email, and
    SASSY Procedural Notices.
  • Manages Using Units records on Exception basis
  • Provides assistance with Data Entry, Inventory,
    Inquiry Requests, and Technical Research

  • The direct link between Deployed Forces (i.e.,
    MEU) and the SMU
  • Receives, Process, Expedites and Tracks all
    Deployed Unit Requirements
  • Provides Status of all Shipments, Cradle to Grave

  • Preservation, Packaging and Packing (P3)
  • Preserve equipment not in use (i.e., War
    Reserve/Level A pack)
  • Package equipment to prevent damage during
    shipment
