Title: Should I Buy Whey Protein or Whey Isolate

1
Should I Buy Whey Protein or Whey Isolate
  • Whey protein is the protein that you get from
milk. There are two types of milk proteins
casein and whey protein. Whey protein is fast to
absorb and is available in different flavours.
When protein is of three types whey
concentrate, whey isolate, and whey hydrolysate.
Some products contain either of the three or a
    mix of them.

2
Whey Isolate vs. Whey Protein
  • Whey protein is got from the part of milk that is
left behind in the cheese making process or
fermentation process. Whey protein is absorbed
faster than casein (the other protein in milk).
  • Whey isolate is one type of whey protein. It has
around 90 protein content and absorbs faster
than the others. It is better than whey
concentrate since it has more protein content.

  • Dont over consume protein powders as they can
lead to digestion issues and protein toxicity. It
is best to take them in moderation based on your
requirement and workout needs. You should also
compare products before buying them and there are
sites to help with product comparison. I use
Wikisheets for product comparison and it helps me
save time of market research. Lactose intolerant
people need to be careful while taking whey
protein as it is made from milk. Some products
contain soy, and those allergic to it should not
have it.  Having a protein powder with milk can
lead to side effects like stomach ache, bloating,
heaviness, loss of hunger, etc. It can also make
you put on weight since milk contains fats.
