- REALITY 2 Each day is created equal
- REALITY 3 BUSY-iness can be a real trap that
we need to consciously avoid! - REALITY 4 Mastering these skills takes
DISCIPLINE!
5Time Management How do I begin to get control
of my time?
- Get Up Early! (Discipline)
- Start every day with the Lord
- Prov. 817 I love them that love me and those
that seek me early shall find me. - Establish your priorities adhere to them
- Matthew 633 But seek ye first the kingdom of
God, and his righteousness and all these things
shall be added unto you. - Get your priorities straight and everything else
will fall into place! - Write them down and review them often!
- Eliminate or minimize activities that do not
directly relate to the accomplishment of your
priorities!
6Time Management How do I begin to get control
of my time?
- Obtain and maintain a calendar / appointment book
(KEY DISCIPLINE) - Find one that works for you
- Record all meetings, appointments, assignment due
dates, commitment due dates, etc. in one place - Create daily, prioritized To-Do lists
highlight those that are completed (it gives you
a sense of accomplishment) - Keep it with you at all times
- Write new tasks down so you wont forget them
- LEARN TO SAY NO so you do not
- over commit yourself or stray from your
priorities!

- Discover when your peak work hours are (when you
are most productive) and try to schedule your
most important tasks around this time - Take time at the end of each day to prepare for
tomorrow - Update your TO-DO List
- Review your appointments and due dates
- Give your tomorrow to the Lord
- Proverbs 36 In all thy ways acknowledge him,
and he shall direct thy paths.

- Managing your time wisely gives you a great start
in having an organized life! - Establish a filing system
- One main/primary folder or portfolio
- (Priorities, calendar, TO-DO lists, etc.)
- Buy a file cabinet
- Create a file for each area of your life
- Bills/statements, car information, product
receipts/warranty information, Vital Information,
etc

- Develop an thinking approach Every piece of
paper has a home where should I put it so I can
access it when I need it? - Do you use folders on your computer?

your to-do list each day. It is in forming the
habit of prioritizing your time so that you are
accomplishing your most important goals in an
efficient manner
