BICEPS

The bicep is the muscle that is attached to the
forearm muscle called the radius. The bicep
controls movements such as bending your forearm
to your shoulder. An example would be lifting
your arm to touch your nose. A good exercise
to strengthen the bicep includes the standing
barbell curl.

TRICEPS
  • The tricep is the muscle that controls the
    opposite actions of the bicep. The main function
    of the tricep is to straighten the arm. An
    example of the action of the tricep would be to
    bring the arm down from touching your nose.
