- Interested in innovation and project planning?
- Semester 1 2 -plan and then execute
- Small groups - each member takes on business role
- Assessment various contribution to team
meetings, project plan and group presentation
10Learning from Research20 credit over 2 semesters
or 10 credit both semesters.
- Work with University staff on their projects
- Or work on your own research project.
- Work in vacation or term time.
- Useful for career in research in the public
sector or market research - Could help with dissertation/ final year project.
- Assessment by poster and report.
11Music Ensemble10 credits both semesters
- Dramatic and Musical Society or,
- Choir or,
- Orchestra need experience!
- Rehearsals for all above generally in the

12Applied Sports Coaching10 credits Semester 2
- Need enthusiasm or interest in a sport and

- This unit is about how entrepreneurship is being
harnessed to help people living in less affluent - communities
- You will be asked to work in small groups to
produce a recommendation for change that will be
sent to a Philippines NGO. - Assessed by group work re-design of a craft
product to increase saleability individual

- Work in small groups
- Engage with different business scenarios
- Develop your ideas/ solutions to problems.
- Assessed by an individual portfolio of evidence,
including a reflective learning diary
15The Experience of Intercultural
Communication10 credits, semester 2
- Mixed nationalities
- Students undertake tasks in groups
- Reflective journal, diary or blog of experience.
- Meet with tutor involves c. 4 hour s per week

- Understand how to make financial decisions

- Why people get into debt and introductory
