the challenge

• Identifying which indicators from the national
  indicator set can be linked to the direct
  delivery of arts activity eg participation
  indicators
• Identifying where the arts can contribute to the
  delivery of a range of cross cutting outcomes
• Identifying local indicators that reflect local
  priorities
• Effectively using these mechanisms to embed the
  investment priorities that are shared with ACEE,
  not just arts but skills, cultural regeneration..

strategic investment priorities

• The strategic priorities, supported by financial
  investment, that ACEE shares with local
  authorities could be embedded in LAAs
• A tailored package in each LAA could take account
  of relevant projects and opportunities eg
  learning and skills, increased participation

• ACEE and a range of other bodies have a duty to
  co-operate with LAAs
• Not yet clearly defined
• Expectation that we will be consulted on LAAs,
  agree relevant activity for inclusion and
  co-operate with delivery

  to local authorities to discuss LAAs
• ACEE, Go-East and cultural bodies hosting LAA
  conference on 26 November
• ACEE will be contacting top tier local
  authorities early in the new year about strategic
  priorities for inclusion in LAAs
