It is a great irony that the one who so failed
the expectations of his people came to be known
to all history as a king so much so that a form
of the word became his last name. Christ, or
Christos in Greek, translates the Hebrew word
Messiah, which means anointed and refers to the
ancient manner of coronating kings. Now, all of
