Definition of hard-disk
It is a main storage device of computer , Used to
store all data ,software etc. And Our operating
system is install into hard-disk drive.

It is also known as Fixed Storage Device
Winchester Device.

Definition of HDD connector

• Disk platter- Disk platter are
• Circular disk, present in the hard-disk drive.
  Actual data is stored on disk platter. Platter
  are manufactured from Aluminum, Glass Ceramic.
  Platter are with coated with magnetic material
  and data is stored as magnetic spot.

Read/write head
The function of read/write head is to read data
from platter and to write a new data on a
platter. During read/write head a new data on a
platter never touch it.

Head Arm/Head Slider
The head arm on which located Read/write head
.slider of the size is known as Nano slider

Head Actuator Mechanism
The read/write actuator arm, stepper Motor,
altogether combined to form, which is known as
head actuator Mechanism. The read write head is
moved on platter using a mechanism.

Spindle motor
Spindle motor spine the hard-disk Platter at the
speed from 3600 rpm To 7200 rpm (rotation per
minute) During read/write operation. It is called
spindle motor because it is directly connected to
the spindle on which the platter are connected.

Logic board
An intelligent circuit board is in built to the
hard-disk in the modern days. it contains the
electronic component that controls various
section of hard-disk

Cable are connector are used to connect the
hard-disk to the main computer system.
