ABOUT US

• Modern School is synonymous with quality
  education and is a pioneer in mooting all-round
  development and foster an all-round growth in its
  wards. This prestigious temple of education was
  established in 1920 in a building located in
  Daryaganj, New Delhi. This Precinct found itself
  embedded in a sprawling mansion that belonged to
  Lala Sultan Singh.

THE EARTH DAY
The Modern School, Faridabad celebrated The
Earth Day by organizing a special assembly on
20th April, 2018. Students highlighted the issues
regarding the degradation of the atmosphere of
the Earth. A Power Point Presentation was
prepared which depicted the various aspects
leading to the deterioration of the environment
of the Earth. The students got some vital
relevant information through the Power Point
Presentation. A skit was staged by the Theatre
Club of the school giving a message to the
students about the importance of keeping our
Earth clean. The junior wing presented a
meaningful poem and a song. A dance was also
presented by them to show how beautiful our
mother Earth is and that this beauty has to be
preserved.

Parents vs. Students Cricket Match 
The Modern School BPTP, Faridabad organized a
Friendly Cricket Match on April 21st, 2018. It
took place between parents and students of The
Modern School at Divine Cricket Ground, BPTP.
Everyone participated enthusiastically and
performed up to the mark. It was a
head-on-competition. However the students
excelled phenomenally and won the match thereby
unfurling the flag of The Modern School.

HOUSE MEET ACTIVITY
With an endeavor to sensitize the students about
their natural surroundings, The Modern School
organized a House Meet on 18/04/2018, wherein
various activities were conducted on the theme
Save Earth thereby emphasizing about the need
to save our Mother Earth. The students of
Grades, P1 P3 were asked to make posters on
Earth Day whereas the students of Grades, P4
depicted How Can I Make My Earth Happy? through
a visual representation. The students of Grades,
P5 S2 were asked to make posters depicting the
plight of Mother Earth and students of S4
participated earnestly and wrote
thought-provoking slogans. All the students
enthusiastically participated in the activities
and showcased their talent and dexterity thereby
displaying a blend of remarkable creativity and
imagination. The House Meet turned out to be a
productive session as it engaged the whole school
community and providing an opportunity to develop
the creative flair of the budding talents.

Introductory workshop conducted by Space
Education and Technologies
An introductory workshop was conducted by Space
Technology and Education Pvt. Ltd. in the Modern
School, Faridabad on 17.04.18, Tuesday for the
students of Grades P1-S4. Therein, the students
of Grades P1-P4 were given a demo and Hands on
learning experience on the topics Window to the
Universe, Space Satellite, Moon Watch, The
Mysterious Moon, the Martian lab, Destination
Moon and planet. Moreover a demo and the hands
on learning experience was provided to the
students of Grades P5-S4 on the topic
Astrophotography for Beginners, Hydroboat and
Evening Rendezvous with the sky. It was an
enriching experience for the budding talents. All
the students enjoyed and participated zealously
in the session throughout.

Dhol making activity by Nursery
To mark the celebration of Baisakhi, children of
Nursery coloured the thermocol glasses with their
favourite colour with the help of paint and brush
and made beautiful dhol out of it.. Such
activities help on developing kinesthetic skills
and bring out the creativity in children. It also
helps in development of fine motor skills.
Children thoroughly enjoyed doing the activity.
