Payam Nia has expertise in control, time delay
systems control, optimal control, robust control,
model predictive control. He is also Signal
processing, input shaping and disturbance
handling.

milestones in his life.

He attended Harvard Medical School and
Northeastern University, Boston, MA in 2011
2012 as a Research Assistant. While there, he
designed and built a handheld device to
accommodate essential tremor.

Payam M Nia got his Ph.D in mechanical
engineering from Northeastern University. His
Ph.D thesis was titled Control-Parameter-Space
Classification for Delay-Independent Stability of
Linear Time-Invariant Time-Delay Systems.
