Payam Nia is a Ph.D. scholar in mechanical
engineering from Northeastern University. He was
a research assistant in the same university and
was awarded Graduate Research Assistantship Award
from the Graduate School of Engineering,
Northeastern University from 2010 to 2014.

Payam Nia has all his background study in
mechanical engineering, and so he is familiar
with most of the work in the field. Payam M Nia
was a mechatronics design engineer at ASML in
Wilton, CT from 2014 to 2017. He contributed a
lot of his efforts to the success of the company
by developing applications using Python and
MATLAB.

Payam Nia was a senior systems control engineer
at Carl Zeiss X-ray Microscopy in Pleasanton, CA
where he led many projects for the Zeiss product
release and implemented disturbance detection
algorithms in multiple dynamic stages.

Currently, Payam M Nia is the Sr. Mechatronics
Engineer at KLA in Milpitas, CA where he
contributed to the controller tuning for accurate
positioning and led stage qualifications from
basic designs and lab testing to integration with
his expertise.
