COMPANY HISTORY
  • GSS Co. was established in 1950, by George
    Stefos in Piraeus Greece.
  • In 1969 the company expanded with additional
facilities to Krioneri. In 1989, Nikolas G.
Stefos joined the company, and in 1992 he took
over the helm of the company.
  • Initially, GSS manufactured marine casting
components, but later expansions included the
manufacturing and distribution of pumps, valves
and related systems. Collaborations with major
    companies throughout Europe from the
agricultural, oil refinery, and utility sectors
expanded our presence beyond the Greek borders.
  • Eventually GSS branched out to the
manufacturing and sales of castings suitable for
urban decor and lighting. Outdoor lighting poles,
benches, and other furniture influenced by
    traditional Greek, European, and Modern
Architecture set us apart from our competitors.
As a result of the exceptional quality and style
of our products, GSS was honored by the Greek
    Government with the TRADITIONAL PRODUCTS
    award.

COMPANY HISTORY
  • Through significant investments in modern
equipment, GSS expanded its production capacity,
and elevated quality control and assurance to
benchmark levels. For those achievements, GSS
was awarded the coveted ISO 9001 certification,
and sales and services were rapidly expanded to
    all EU countries.
  • G.S.S. Global Solutions Co. was established
in 2008 by Stelios G. Stefos, in Farmington
Hills, Michigan, in order to introduce the
lighting systems and casting products to the US
market while serving as liaison for future
    business developments.
