Title: Hooking up a projector
1Hooking up a projector
- So simple youll wonder why you havent tried it
before.
2With both computer and printer OFF
Disconnect the monitor from the computer The
projector will be taking the place of the monitor.
3Find the cable with the monitor connections on
both ends One for the computer the other for the
back of the projector
4Push the plug in here and screw on securely
5The monitor plugged into the projector !
6Power port is on the left side of the projector
To raise the porjector pinch the lever above the
legs and let the leg drop to the height you wish.
7The power supply plugged into the projector!
8The mouse or the keyboard may be plugged in here
to be controled via the projector. The only
reason to do this would be to use a mouse from
across the room maybe.
9Plug in the power and the lamp light will come on
The ready light will come on when you press the
power button and the light will appear on the
projected surface.
10You can adjust the focus with the ring around the
lens. Once the power is on and a light is seen
on the wall Turn on the computer you have
attached the projector to
11The picture on the wall from the projector is now
what you would normally see on your monitor when
you boot up your computer. Be careful of the
projector the bulb is almost 500 And the
projector itself is sometimes over 2000 But
cant you see your class paying much more
attention to the screen than to you just talking
to them? Why not have them create and present
powerpoints or reports on a projector to the
class or a group?
