- The title of a bibliography is called just
that--Bibliography or Works Cited - It should be centered at the top of the page.
Bibliography
- Your last name should be in the upper
- right-hand corner of the paper. The
page - number should be at the bottom of the
page - and should be the last page of your paper.
- Double space before beginning the first entry.

- The entries are listed alphabetically.

- Publishing (NOTE every line
- after the first line of the entry is
- indented . )
- Begin the entry by listing
- the authors last name first,
- then the first name or initials.
- If there is no author, begin with
- the title of article or book. A
- period follows the authors name,
- the article title, and the book title.
- Double space after each period.
(If the book is a multi-volume set, list the
volume number after the title.)
(Most bibliographical information can be found
on the front and back of the title page.)

- After the Title of the book, list the city where
the book was published--follow this with a colon
(). - Next list the name of the publishing company
followed by a comma (,). - After the Publisher, write the date the book was
published followed by a period (.).

- When you only use a few selected pages from a
particular source, you list those pages at the
end of your entry followed by a period.

6Works Cited - Periodicals
The information for the periodical is slightly
different than the book. An archived article
found on an Internet database is treated like a
regular magazine. Notice how there is no period
after the magazine title the date is written in
the European style, and a () follows the date.
