- The Four Principles
- - the people that are here are the right people
- - whatever happens is supposed to happen
- - whenever it starts it is the right time to
start - - when its over its over
- One Law The Law of Two Feet
- The law encourages people to take responsibility
for their own learning, peace of mind and
contributions - If a participant feels unable to contribute or
learn in a given situation, the Law of Two Feet
encourages the participant to move on to another
group or another place.
5un-conference - the Aarhus way A mix of
keynotes interactive sessions we all work in
groups, bring up relevant topics and contribute
with knowledge and ideas. Participants are a mix
of experienced world class library people and
people from developing library communities. Use
the opportunities in this global forum!
6- introduction to the program
- 7 talks in Main Hall to kick-start and inspire
- 2 cocktail sessions with speakers in main hall
you ask the questions! Jannik will explain the
technical stuff! - 4 timeslots with parallel sessions three on
Monday, one on Tuesday - Parallel sessions workshops, 9 minutes speed
presentations and outdoor games - Other options spot-mobile outside (Monday) and
poster exhibitions in the foyer
7- Workshops
- 13 planned workshops themes, chairs, speakers
and reporters - no sign-up for workshops there are limited
seats in the labs the first who gets there,
gets the seats! - Two open workshops Monday at 15.00-16.00 and
16.15-17.00 - wannabe-chairs write theme suggestions on
whiteboard outside Main Hall. The people who
participate at the open workshops decide what
will happen. -

- 4 open slots sign up on the whiteboard outside
the Main Hall if you want to make a 9 minutes
presentation - The first who signs up gets the slots
