DC, CDI Develop Marine Corps warfighting
concepts and determine and integrate subsequent
capabilities across the pillars of Doctrine,
Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership and
Education, Personnel and Facilities (DOTMLPF) in
order to provide combat-ready and relevant
forces across the range of military
operations. CG, MCCDC Provide training and
professional military education for the Marine
Corps conduct Marine Corps Base operations and
provide personnel services, facilities
management, logistics, communications and
security in support of local tenant activities,
other governmental agencies and local
communities provide a high quality of life for
all members of the Quantico family and develop
plans to meet future challenges

Capabilities Development Directorate Mission
  • CDD integrates, monitors, and assesses the
    development, management, and execution of
    overarching strategies, plans and capability
    development for the present and future Marine
    Corps. It does this through the Expeditionary
    Force Development System

MISSION
  • Provide oversight for the Marine Corps on all
    matters pertaining to studies and operations
    analysis.
  • Assist the Marine Operating Forces and other
