  Bible studies, video studies, cell groups,

Overcoming the care barrier

• Simple instructions for SG leaders
• Open in prayer, open Bible, food, take prayer
  requests, close in prayer
• Show the leader how to care for others
• A look, a word, a touch, a prayer
• Provide training, materials, etc.
• Officially deputize the laity
• Extend care to those outside the church
• Formal informal appreciation of those who
  shepherd others
• Lay counselor training
