afraid about their job
18Project Give yourself a job
19Project description
- The aim of the project is to include in the
labour market people suffering from social
exclusion due to long-term absence from the
market, resulting from drug addiction and/or stay
in a treatment and rehabilitation centre, and
also people living with HIV/AIDS. The programme
will be extended additionally to the locally
unemployed living in the region of the treatment
centers. That will create needed workplaces,
allow for vocational training of the patients of
the treatment centers and the unemployed from the
area, as well as activate cooperation of local
partners in developing different ways of creating
new workplaces and in launching new initiatives.
20- The project consists of 16 sub-projects realized
by the rehab centers (13) and by the Associations
for PLWHA (3). The rehab centers sub-projects
(which are located in rural areas) are mainly
aimed at vocational training of the beneficiaries
in the field of ecological production and
services, biomass energy production and
utilization, horse-breeding, horse-riding and
hippotherapy. The associations sub-projects
(which are located in the cities) are focused on
general and vocational training for PLWHA
(depending on the specific needs of the
beneficiaries).
21Objectives
- Creation and testing of the integrated system of
therapy, education and labour to be replicated by
other centres. - Creation of the system of ecological vocational
training. - Creation of the internal market of green jobs
- Easy access for patients of rehab centres and
local community to information system - Reduction of discrimination of people socially
excluded due to drug/alcohol addiction, HIV/AIDS
or long-term unemployment - Sustainable development aimed at environmental
protection, and especially protection of
biodiversity, by traditional fruit trees and
animal breeds - Skills useful on the labour market by trainings
offered in the centres, adjusted to personal
needs and possibilities of the beneficiaries
(clients of the centres) and also to the needs of
a local labour market.
