• Dance was very important to the ancient Greeks
• They believed that dance improved physical and
  emotional health
• They had many different dances

• Homer told poems and told stories
• People dont know if he ever really existed
• He wrote heroic poems and stories and also comedy
  stories

• They had many different songs not like the ones
  we have today though
• Music was a form of Greek entertainment and
  continues today

• They had theatre which they had tragedy comedy
• They told stories with family and friends
• The stories were passed from generation to
  generation
