• With all streets well identified

• With no codified street identification

In Abidjan Nobody uses the street
identification system

You hardly get lost!

EXPLANATIONS????

• Abidjan codes use A,B,C and 1,2,3
• The main streets were named after  white
  people 
• Sometimes you find section  C  in more than one
  quartier
• The street info does not match with the mass
  transport routes
• There are memories tied to the info.

• The Street naming system is still there, but the
  population is
• Using popular places like bars and churches to
  indicate physical positions
• Changing street names to new ones tied to
  personalites and memorable events

• Where
• Most streets are named after Nigerian
  personalities, cities, and towns
• Address indications follow mass transit routes
• The population has blood relations to the street
  names!
