Analysis Method
  • 5. Frequency number for each of the demographics.
  • 6. Cross tabulation of some demographics to
similar knowledge, attitude, and behavior items.
  • 7. Cross tabulation of whether or not the
respondents took a basic health class affected
    their knowledge.

10
Implications
  • The study showed that there needs to be a greater
emphasis on nutritional background that is taught
to youth during grade school years.
  • The study showed significance because the eating
habits of men/women develop during the college
years often follow them into their 20s and 30s.

11
Implications
  • Findings suggest a need for learning
opportunities focusing on food selection, meal
planning, and food preparation in the context of
    a total daily diet.

12
Conclusions
  • Level of improvement concerning the knowledge
questions is respondents had a lower score than
compared to the attitude and behavior questions.
  • Level of awareness has improved over the years,
however there is a need for improvement for the
    future.
