Requirements to a fertiliser plan

• The farmer wish to know the basic things as
• Optimal distribution of livestock manure on the
  fields
• Types of mineral fertilisers that should be
  supplemented to the livestock manure, and the
  optimal distribution on the fields
• Total amounts of livestock manure and mineral
  fertilisers consumed for the entire farm

• Cabinet Regulation 531 based requirements
• Total area of cultivated land
• Total demand of N, P, K in nutrients for the
  entire area of cultivated land
• Number of animals of each category (codes from
  manure standard)
• Total production of N, P and K in livestock
  manure
• Total use of N, P, K in mineral fertiliser
• Difference between total demand and the supply of
  nutrients
• Average field effect for N in livestock manure
• Share of cultivated area grown with winter green
  crops
• Livestock density (Animal Units or kg N ex.
  storage from livestock manure per ha cultivated
  area)

• Additional options for management
• Expected gross margin per ha/field of the
  different crops
• Pesticide plans (NO!)

• Compliance with other officially submitted
  information
• Information related with each field (area, crops
  grown in different years) must of course comply
  with the information submitted to the authorities
  (the so-called IACS information), for instance in
  connection to the Single Payment Scheme
• Envisaged with open access to the IACS
  information

Comments to the requiremnets of CR 531

• We do not see any need that the fertiliser plan
  should inform Mineral fertilizer application
  technique.
• The three last words of this sentence should be
  removed Norm of application of nitrogen (N),
  phosphor (P2O5) and potassium (K2O) with mineral
  fertilizer.
• Other balance factors. must be defined in order
  to avoid arbitrary requirements
