Held in 1953, is located to the west side of the
city of Jenin, and the parties Marj bin Amer. An
area of the camp, where construction, 372 dunums,
widened to about 473 dunums. The number of
population, bringing, in 1967, about 5019 people,
and in 1995, rose to about 11447 people. Five
schools in the camp, including three males one
junior high, two elementary and two for girls
elementary and junior high. There is also a
centre for kindergarten, was founded by a local
aid, through the "General Welfare Charity" in
Nablus, where a health centre continued, "the
IAEA." There is also a "social status of girls",
which is the only club in the camp. The mosque,
one of which was expanded, and build a second
floor to him, containing a library for women. And
suffering "camp steadfastness" water crisis, and
the absence of a cemetery, where people bury
their dead in a cemetery in the town of Jenin.

The city of Jenin has a population of 35,000
Palestinians. It was named Jenin because it
was famous for its green fields and great
gardens. The city of Jenin overlooks both the
Jordan Valley to the east and the Marj Ibn Amer
(Jezreel Valley) to the north. Jenin was known in
ancient times as the Canaanite village of
Ein-Ganeem or Tel Jenin.12 The city of
Ein-Ganeem. The town's economy is based on
service, craft, and some industry local
agriculture produces wheat, barley, olives,
dates, figs, and vegetables.

Health and education centers.
There are 5 main hospitals in Jenin and two
universities one of them is the Arab American
University and its the first private university
in Palestine and it has a very high level of
education. There are also many community centers
that provide care for the youth in many different
ways.

Burqin village is located to the south-west of
Jenin city, located about 5 km, and rises 270 m
above sea level .The fourth oldest church in the
world is located in Birqin which is called
Birqin Church

Known as the Covenant on behalf of the Romanian
Jelbos. Located to the east of Jenin city,
located about 11 km. The rise from the sea 300
meters. The area of land surrounded by 9600
without the territory of the villages.Its
famous for many things such as producing candles.
And it has a big candle factory.Citizens of
Jalboon are interested in traditional dancing
such as Dabka.There are also a lot of
beautiful sights to see in Jalboon.

We are students from the Arab American School. We
joined the RELIEF International center to help
improve out community and we accomplished many
progressive projects. The previous one was the
most rewarding, we donated two computers to a
very small isolated village, it is called
Kherbet Al Mkahhhel. Weve been members of
RELIEF International center 3 months. And weve
accomplished 3 projects so far.

Project info

• Weve been working on this project for 3 weeks,
  in the first week we took a photoshop and
  powerpoint course and collected pictures and
  information. The following days we edited the
  pictures using photoshop and made our
  presentation on powerpoint. Our homepage consists
  of more than 12 layers that weve really enjoyed
  working on every detail of it.
